I found this article through google search. While it's not necessarily an African website, I found this story very interesting and had to share this! This article is on voanews.com. The Article is called, South Africa Youth See New Life Through Photography. The article is about how disadvantaged teens in South Africa are finding an all new perspective on how they live their lives through photography. This project is called " I was shot in Joburg," and was created by Bernard Viljoen.
 This new initiative is one of the biggest beneficial changes in Pritchard Ndlovu's life. Pritchard grew up in a world of violence and poverty and was living in a shelter when he met Bernard Viljoen. Bernard gave the him a camera and told them to find the beauty in the world. He has even set up places to sell the children's photographs and the children even get to keep the profit. The money is to help pay for education and further their careers. 
I think that Bernard is a true inspiration. I think it's so cool how one person can make such a big difference in someones' life. I beg everyone to read this story for it has changed my life quite a bit.
